Keeton Tucker

Keeton is a 14 year veteran of the U.S. Army. Born in Granbury, Texas in 1988, he never could stay in one place too long. In all, his family moved 17 times before he even left for BCT in 2006, but Texas will always be his home. He spent the first half of his tenure on active duty as an infantryman, deploying to Iraq for 15 months with B Co 1-6 IN, 2nd BCT, 1st Armored Division as well as Afghanistan with C Co 1-187 IN (Rakkasan!), 3rd BCT, 101st Airborne Division.

After Afghanistan, Keeton left active duty to pursue his undergraduate degree at Oregon State University and continued his career in the reserves as a Psychological Operations Specialist during which he competed in and won the USACAPOC(A) Best Warrior Competition in 2015, being recognized as the top NCO in a 2 star level command of over 13,500 Soldiers. Eventually he returned to Active Duty in the AGR program for the last few years of his service, and just recently transitioned to civilian life.

Keeton started growing his own peppers several years ago after constantly being disappointed in the quality of peppers available locally, but he has been playing with heat for well over a decade, and is an avid griller of meats. In his free time he enjoys a little bit of range therapy, as well hiking, camping, off-roading, and spending time scratching dog ears.
